In years past, I tried attending as many shows as humanly possible during swim week, photographer in tote. The problem with that is that you tend to miss a lot of the fun. Sure you might be the very first to see the latest swimwear and resort collections and get to “post about them,” but by nature swimwear is supposed connote leisure and relaxation and I wasn’t getting any piece of that.
So this year, on the wake of Mercedes no longer sponsoring fashion week, I too decided to change with the changing times, seeking out the most fun one can have during swim week, with no regrets, no FOMO, no anxiety. And the result was nothing short of a mini vaca in my own home town.
