Since this blog is mostly about fashion but also a little bit about my life, I thought I’d take this time to share a tidbit of personal information on here with you. On April 26 of this year, I got engaged to my love, my best friend and partner in life. Naturally I could not have been happier, except for the fact that my fiancé had our friend and talented photographer Mayra secretly capture the entire thing.

This made me exponentially happier. But poor Mayra had to hide in the bushes for most of these shots which is why our engagement photos look like Paparazzi took them.
As you know I love all things beautiful and this day did not disappoint. From the setting at The Kampong which is a botanical garden here in Coconut Grove to the amazing spread full of heart shaped patés and cheeses and not to mention the rosé and chocolates provided by our favorite deli here in Miami, Buena Vista; everything was just perfect. Oh, and how can I forget the magical moment when I said yes and a giant manatee decided to come up for air just at that moment, giving us its blessing. I know it sounds cheesy but trust me it was magical. Miami is my home now and I am so happy to have had such a monumental moment take place here. Here’s to many more to come!
