Summer has come to an end and September brought with it a slew of fun-filled events. One event that I attended was a night at the Ritz Carlton Residences, or should I say, the place where the luxury residences will soon stand. The highlight being the fashion show, models strutted the runway in 3 separate collections including Max Mara, Sportmax and ‘S Max Mara.
The event was held in honor of Dress for Success, a charity founded to empower underprivileged women through attire and support. It’s a great organization that over the span of 20 years has helped over 50, 000 women find jobs. I wonder how many of them went into the blogging business.
What I wore: Top – Trina Turk, Jeans- ONE Teaspoon, Shoes – Valentino, + Tassel Bracelet
As for the fashion show. The Max Mara fall/winter looks were luscious, but I was hot just looking at them. So many cute sweaters, dresses and jackets and I couldn’t wear any of them. I know, it’s not a bad problem to have…I love living in Miami. For those of you who do get 4 seasons a year, you might want to check out the cool colors this design house rolled out for when the chill hits. It’s the perfect combo of sophisticated and chic.

If I lived anywhere else, and let me be clear I hope I never do, my absolute favorite piece from the Max Mara fall/winter collection would be this sumptuous wool/cashmere mix sweater in ‘ice.’
You can find the sweater here. But I’ll stick to binikis and sundresses for now.
