What to Wear on New Year’s Eve

It’s that time of the year again when everyone and I mean everyone is asking about your New Year’s Eve plans. If you’re a girl, that also raises the question of attire. Up until now, you’ve been telling yourself that it’s just a hyped up holiday full of unnecessary overspending and debauchery. But as the fated night approaches, you’re kind of curious yourself to see how you outshine your pretty little self from the year prior.

Now that you’ve admitted this to yourself it’s time to do some shopping. There’s still time to look online or you can take your chances digging at a local retailer, that’s if you’ve got a death wish. But no matter your fancy, I have the perfect New Year’s Eve dress ideas for you, complete with hair and makeup that will make this year one to remember.

If you’re also following feng shui, it is important to note that 2014 is the year of the Wooden Horse. Therefore, to be in harmony with the energy of the year I recommend that you incorporate a little something from the Wood feng shui element – anything with a shade of  green or brown in it. Here’s what I came up with.

The Diva

I’m not saying you’re a diva, but if your choice of dress is a sumptuous maxi this NYE, you will certainly be looking the part. But hey, how often do you really get to do that, so go ahead and own it!
